Curated Library
At the Books & Brews library we are constantly striving to bring books that will engage & enrich you as a reader. Our collection of books are reviewed and we recommend books based on the type of reader you are.
Things to do
Here are a few things you can do while you are at the Books & Brews community library:
- Sit & read quietly
- Have conversations around books & your favourite characters
- Let your kids touch, feel & chose their favourite books
- Watch your child pick a book and read
- Read a story to your child
- Be part of a like-hearted community of readers
- Unleash your imagination and step into a magical world
- Stare at the books & admire them

Community Building
Do you know at @booksnbrews_mysuru
we have this very unique concept where once you have read a book, you can leave a small note on how that book made you feel and keep it in this tiny envelope at the back of the book.
This helps foster a beautiful bond with the next reader who wants to pick this book. Who knows, maybe your note might encourage someone to read a certain book. Isn't that amazing!!!
We are creating a community, one bookworm at a time, join us and be a part of this meaningful movement.

![A look back at our October Bookworms Meet — an evening of healing words, honest conversations, and stories that brought us closer.
From heartfelt poems to wholesome debates about books and authors we love, it was a beautiful reminder that this space is for everyone — a true home for readers.
And when @shetty.dee told us, "I came today prepared to have difficult conversations, considering the topic was mental health awareness, but the session felt like a warm hug". WE smiled.

Little Free Library Project
The Little Free Library(LFL) is a global movement, and TASK, in collaboration with Books & Brews, is delighted to support its introduction in Mysore. The concept is based on a simple, honour-system book exchange: ‘Take a book, share a book.’”

A Global Movement: Little Free Library is a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to building community, inspiring a love of reading, and sparking creativity through shared book exchanges.

The Library: It's a small, charming, weatherproof structure—often resembling a dollhouse or large birdhouse—placed on a post in a public area.

How It Works: Anyone can walk up, open the door, and borrow a book they'd like to read. The only expectation is that they will return that book or contribute another book in its place to keep the library stocked for the next reader. No library card is needed.

Community-Driven: LFLs are maintained by local volunteers, known as "stewards," and they serve as vital, accessible anchors of literacy that benefit everyone in the neighbourhood, young and old.
